What material is the Sips bottle made from?

The Sips bottle is made from Tritan BPA-free plastic – a premium, clear and durable material that is safe, stylish and perfect for everyday use.

How much liquid does the bottle hold?

Each bottle holds 480ml, making it ideal for keeping hydrated on the go without carrying a large or heavy bottle.

Is the bottle insulated?

No, Sips is not insulated. It is designed for cool drinks only, such as water, iced tea or cold infusions. It is not suitable for hot liquids.

What is the TPE bumper and what does it do?

The TPE leather-effect bumper is adhered to the bottle during the manufacturing process. It gives Sips its signature style while also offering added grip and durability. It cannot be removed.

Is the bottle dishwasher safe?

We recommend hand washing only. This helps to protect the etched logo, the bumper, and the overall finish of the bottle. Use warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.

Design and Accessories

Does the bottle fit in a handbag?

Yes – Sips was designed to fit easily into most handbags, so it’s perfect for commutes, workdays, and casual outings.

Can I personalise the bottle?

Not yet, but we’re working on it. Expect personalisation charms, cross-body straps, and functional accessories in the near future. Follow @hellosips to stay updated.

What is the strap made from?

Each bottle includes a soft-touch branded strap. We’ll be releasing new strap styles soon, including cross-body options and clever add-ons like a built-in lip balm pocket.

Usage and Safety

Can I use the bottle for fizzy drinks?

We do not recommend using Sips for carbonated drinks, as the internal pressure can cause leaks or damage.

Is the bottle leakproof?

Yes – the lid is designed to be secure and leak-resistant under normal daily use. Just make sure it is closed tightly before placing it in your bag.

Is it food-safe?

Absolutely. Tritan plastic is BPA-free, food-safe, and resistant to odours and staining.

Cleaning and Storage

Can I remove the bumper to clean it?

No – the bumper is permanently adhered to the bottle for improved strength and resilience. Simply wash the bottle as one piece with warm, soapy water.

How should I store my bottle when not in use?

Store your Sips bottle in a dry place, ideally with the lid off, to allow airflow and prevent moisture build-up.

Orders and Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We currently ship to the UK and USA, with free shipping when you order two or more bottles.

How long will delivery take?

UK orders are typically delivered in 3 to 5 working days. US orders usually take 5 to 7 working days. We’ll send you tracking details once your order is dispatched.

Can I return my order?

Yes – we accept returns of unused items in their original packaging where the sleeve is in the original condition within 14 days of delivery. The cost of the return needs to be covered by the customer. Email us at support@hellosips.com for any returns support.
